I couldn’t see any familiar places in the room, but then I looked outside. I don’t know how people managed before the invention of windows. Maybe they had glass doors?

Always looking up to the snowy peaks 
as they constantly pester 
the easily distracted 
sky of clouds and island birds.

Sometimes when I am cold and visiting you, 
I shiver below the backdrop of grand mountains 
looming so high.  

This invisible appeal is present to some extent 
in every home.

I mean, like seriously? How am I  to know if I got up on the wrong side of bed when I wake up on a pile of rocks? At least my pajamas aren’t too embarrassing.
